Us and We Art

Joey Hartmann-Dow is originally from Bethlehem, PA, where she was raised as a Quaker. She moved to New Orleans at some point because the trees told her to. She studied Studio Art and Environmental Justice in college until 2012 and now she’s a straight up artist with some feelings about it.

Joey works under the name Us & We Art and sincerely believes her work is for all humans. She collaborates with maps to make connections between humans, the earth, and each other. She also makes weird greeting cards to help you feel your creature feelings, and she draws graphite portraits of badass women to boot. (thebadasswomen.com) She spends most of her time making things or thinking about making things, or trying to manifest a version of millennial hope for our planet.
