Dodeca Designs
Dodeca Designs is the creative outlet of native New Orleanian Philip Rau. His passion for woodwork developed over the course of the last four years, as he worked as a carpenter in the Historic District of New Orleans. After purchasing a lathe, the oldest power machine in history, Philip discovered his love for fine, detailed work and initiated his jewelry line based on lathework. His jewelry and crafts continued to evolve with a focus on a detail and hands-on processes. Each piece is entirely hand-sanded and sealed with all-natural oils, as he refrains from using harsh stains, paints, or finishes.
